I too am facing the same problem as expressed by some people - regarding enabling sockets. When I
call socket_create(), i get the error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function:
socket_create()". Is the only way to solve this problem is to re-compile PHP with
--enable-sockets option ? Is there any other way ? I am using PHP on Solaris 2.8.
