For Apache 2.0.36, Windows XP, and PHP 4.2.1.
Do all the steps in the documentation for Apache 1.3.x, until you reach the place where you edit
your httpd.conf file. Instead of the lines mentioned in the installation, place these lines to the
end of your httpd.conf file:
LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll
<FilesMatch "\.php$">
SetOutputFilter PHP
</FilesMatch>
