In the session example above, the only difference between the original code and the new example is
that a link has been added passing the session id to the second script as part of its query string.
That will work fine, but so will the original code if
a. The user has enabled cookies in his/her browser
b. php has been configured to use cookies with sessions (on by default)
The use of a query string is advisable in a production environment, but not absolutely necessary in
a quick example.
