I ran into the
PHP Warning: Certificate failure for <server>: self signed certificate:
message while upgrading 4.0.6->4.1.2. I'm pleased to report that
{<server>:<port>/imap/tls/novalidate-cert}<mailbox>
works as expected (and fixes my problem). I'm using IMP 2.2.8.
