note 22968 added to function.md5

I've tryied to generate MD5 long results using crypt(), but no matter if I try this : $encrypted=($passwd_from_the_form,"$1$${salt}$"); where salt = the chars from the 3rd char to the 10th char of the stored shadowed password on shadow... it always returns me a 13 chars long password...
