I have installed php on win2k/Xitami system and on localhost it's working fine. But when i connect remotely i get this errormessage: ******** Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly. This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force-cgi-redirect enabled. This means that a page will only be served up if the REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set, e.g. via an Apache Action directive. For more information as to why this behaviour exists, see the manual page for CGI security. For more information about changing this behaviour or re-enabling this webserver, consult the installation file that came with this distribution, or visit the manual page. ****** i have set cgi.force_redirect=0 ( in php.ini in c:/winnt) and imo i have disabled this feature The message is still ....redirect enabled....and php doesn't work remote i also made a c:\windows directory with a copy of php.ini in it but so far no luck. any ideas? -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.xitami.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+23152 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+23152 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+23152
