This is more of a question, but yeah..
in a forum type environment, would it not be much simpler to do this:
$text = str_replace("<", "<", $text);
$text = str_replace(">", ">", $text);
this seems much simpler to me, as many people oblivious to the existance of HTML may try to use <
and > in their posts... any suggestions?
