To install FdfTk support on RedHat 7.0, I had to get the toolkit from:
http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/acrosdk/download/unix/fdftk4_05_C.tar.Z
extract it, copy the fdftk.h file to the /usr/include directory, and copy the
Unix/i586-linux/GNU3.0/libfdftk.so and Unix/i586-linux/GNU3.0/libFdfTk.so.3.0 to the /usr/lib
directory. Lastly, I made symbolic links:
ln -s /usr/include/fdftk.h /usr/include/FdfTk.h
ln -s /usr/lib/libFdfTk.so.3.0 /usr/lib/libFdfTk.so
Then now, at least, PHP recognizes the FDF installation as complete.
