It seems that objects are not stored recursively in sessions. For example, we have an object
variable $HUB registered and stored in the session, it has a field $config, but it looks like
$HUB->$config doesn't get stored with $HUB. (although all the non-object fields get stored
fine)
There doesn't seem to be any documentation about this.
