note 23757 deleted from function.unset by dams

OK AlberT, I don't care what you say about not using session_unregister with $_SESSION variables, but I have to use it. unset($_SESSION['foo']) DOES NOT WORK! session_unregister('foo') DOES! Looking at the session file on the webserver, unset only appears to unset the variable for the current page, it does not unset it in the session file. session_unregister clears the variable from the session file. Could somebody please explain why I have been slamming my head against my desk for the past 4 hours trying to unset session vars? ;-)
