ASP has it's limitations but you should look at what the new ASP.NET has to offer. Like was
mentioned before ASP.NET is not a language, merly an acronym. The bonus is that the code you can use
for ASP.NET can be almost any language that is supported by the .Net framework, which includes VB,
C++, C#, and other more popular ones. I believe there has been work by a 3rd party or someother to
include PHP in the list of lanuages suppurting the .NET architecture as well. Personally it all
comes down to preference and which one you have more experience with/prefer.
