Has anybody (and succesfully) been able to use libCURL inside PHP inside ApacheSSL (perhaps Apache +
mod_SSL too) to connect to the same server or any external SSL server?
I get a libCURL error 35:
CURLE_SSL_CONNECT_ERROR (35)
A problem occured somewhere in the SSL/TLS handshake.
You really want the error buffer and read the message
there as it pinpoints the problem slightly more. Could
be certificates (file formats, paths, permissions),
passwords, and others.
A possible issue could be the fact that ApacheSSL (and PHP under it) has access to a certificate for
client SSL authentication... but for whatever reason client authentication fails when running and
libCURL request to *ANY* HTTPS (SSL) server, including itself.
I will furture research this, but others could possible add their two cents.. anything is better
than nothing (I reserve the right to retract that last statement!)
