CURL support only exists in the CVS version, and will hopefully exist in the next stable release.
I'm not entirely aware of what is behind PHP.net's policy of placing functions that are
unsupported in the current stable version here. Oh, yes, it has its good points (I'm certainly
very grateful), but they might also fool a careless reader.
