Like mysql_query, only select queries return a result identifier. Insert/update/delete queries
return true/false to indicate success/failure

this was true enough when i was running
php4.1.2, but after I upgraded to 4.2.2
I/U/D queries seem to only return !1
even when successfully I/U/D'ing the entry.
This is playing havoc on all apps I've installed
that do something like:
if ( !$db->sql_query($sql) ) {
message_die(CRITICAL_ERROR, ' db Error creating new insert');
}
Any input on a fix?
