I downloaded and installed apache 2.0.39, mysql (the 3.xx.51 build), both of which work and also
downloaded the PHP4.2.2 tar.gz. Apache and mysql work fine. However when I try to build and install
php from source using ./configure, it does some initial building and then gives the error
"httpd.h not found". I know that this file does exist in the apache ../include directory.
I am using the following options with ./configure:
./configure --with-apache=/mypath/to/apache --with-mysql=/mypath/to/mysql
which is when this error comes up. Also I want to configure it as a dynamic module (DSO), and
i've heard you have to do this with --with-apxs=/mypath/to/apxs, which i tried without success.
It also says that you cannot use the --with-apache and the --with-apxs together.
Any ideas as to how I should proceed? mod_so is installed so DSO should be possible.
Thanks in advance...
