Re: compliation problems with Apache 2.0.39 and php version 4+. I got the two working together (In
fact I have the lastest releases/dev going right now under test v2.0.40 and 4.3.0-dev). I tried
every trick I could think off and find on the internet. Eventually, I got them to integrate - but
only after I upgraded the gcc compiler to version 3.1.1. No problems since and I have done the same
thing on several different servers with no problems once the gcc was upgraded. The only thing I have
not been able to get working as expected was the Apache perchild module.
Hope this is of use to someone. I'd suggest trying this before hacking the source for php or
apache :)
