note 8156 added to Installation

i have problem in getting install php4. i have followed this steps : i untar the tarball of php4 and then run configure script : ./configure --with-mysql --with-imap this script run successfully. then i run the command : make but i am getting error in this like : * In file included from zend.h:51, from ./zend-scanner.l:42: /usr/include/unix.h:196:parse error before 'MAILSTREAM' and so many warnings. and on so many line of unix.h of pare error before '*' so is it neccessary to configure zend before make command? anyone can help for this and possibly tell me exact procedure for installin php4 with imap and mysql support. thank you, dhaval. http://www.php.net/manual/installation.php
