In addition to the netBIOS suggestion above, when binding to a Windows2k AD server, you can use the UPN of the intended user. For instance, if your SAM account name is firstname.lastname and your domain is domainname.com, your UPN might be firstname.lastname@domainname.com This can be used to bind to AD.
