The code is not intended to change the document itself, but rather is there to print the document in
a visually pleasing manor. The line:
$content = ereg_replace (" ", " ", $content);
Is there to keep propper spacing (if more than once space is there, it will show more than one
space). In the source you will see <br /> however, on the viewed document it will
show up as <br />
