The string that microtime () returns isn't very useful unless you do some work to reformat it
to something you can use, for example, in adds. This function returns microtime () in a more useful
format.
function m_time ()
// Return a microtime () string in a more useful format

$currenttime = explode (' ',microtime ());
return (float) ($currenttime [0] + $currenttime [1]);
