as of version 4.0.6 (on Linux) this feature is broken. my needs are modest: I have a web server
that returns a single url-encoded line that I want to convert to an array (without the bloody
quotes). I use this function:
function getln($url) {
$f = @file($url);
if (!$f) return;
list($n, $v) = each($f);
parse_str(chop($v), $h);
foreach ($h as $k => $v) {
$h[$k] = stripslashes($v);
}
return $h;
}
