note 25803 added to function.session-is-registered

Hello :-) i read a lot information about sessions in php but i still dont know why the follow code doesnt workx :( if the login page was successfully, i must set a global var, to check if logged in or not. // If Login OK, then -> // Set Session Name session_name("session_id"); // Start Session session_start(); // Set Session var "loggedin" to KarmeLoginOK $HTTP_SESSION_VARS["loggedin"] = "KarmaLoginOK"; // Redirect to "Secure Area" Header("Location: manager.php?".SID); it works, but when i logged in, the variable is a emtpystr..... there is nothing.. what can i do ??
