I´m Using Solaris Sparc and
apache 1.3.27 , PHP 4.2.3(module) with Oracle 9i.
Enviroment before running Apache
NLS_LANG icelandic_america.WE8ISO8859P1
ORACLE_HOME /usr/oracle
ORA_NLS33 /usr/oracle/ocommon/nls/admin/data
I use Php with OCI8 and Oracle(ora)
If I use ora_logon("/","") everything works fine but If I use
OCILogon("/","")
I get this error :
OCIDebug: _oci_open_server new conn=0 dname=
OCIDebug: _oci_open_session: FAILURE -> CLEANUP called....<br>.....<br>
ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied.
If I use
$someuser = "test";
$somepass = "notempty";
OCILogon("$someuser","$somepass") then I get connected.
Also with the external user("/") the logs in Oracle server shows the right username.
I wondering If the oci8.c has somekind of string manipulation with the empty password string. If
anyone has this problem solved please post here.
