note 25949 added to function.ereg

I wish to parse a CSV file and store each field into a column of MySQL. Everything works until I come across a column which have a new line character (created by pressing the <Enter> key in the texts). Does anyone know do I get ereg to detects these new line characters and delete them please. -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.ereg.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+25949 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+25949 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+25949
