This example was very helpful for me as a beginner, but I assume that there is a tiny mistake in the
first line. The $ should be omitted on getdate() cause it is not a variable, but a function, so it
should state:
$today = getdate(); *instead of* $today = $getdate();
Correct me, if I am wrong.
