I just want to confirm the previous statement.
The variable passed back to the callback function is read only. I suffered a lot of seg faults
trying to figure out what was wrong before finally reading the above comment. I was doing a
preg_replace on the variable and it seg faulted constantly.
The first thing you should do is copy the variable. Semi-inefficiant but what can you do? Maybe
someone else can enlighten us?
