On WindowsXP. SP1. Apache 2.0.53 (also .39). PHP 4.2.3 (also 4.2.1). I did everything like in
install.txt, and tried all of your suggestions, dear PHP-people. None of them, suddenly helped me.
Then, I remembered something very good, something I got in an old installation. Try to cut-n-paste
the following lines (instead of
#LoadModule php4_module modules/php4apache.dll
#AddModule mod_php4.c
#AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml
#AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
or
#LoadModule php4_module "C:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll"
#<FilesMatch "\.php$">
# SetOutputFilter PHP
#</FilesMatch>)
in your httpd.conf:
ScriptAlias /php/ "I:/PHP/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
where I:/PHP stands for your php installation/unzip directory, and everything goes well... HTH you
like it worked for me, after 4 hours working and a lot of smoke in my room.
