I recommend modifying the above. Replace two lines and add one:
// $path = str_replace ("//","/",$sPath.$val);
// echo "$path<br>";
echo "$sPath/$val<br>";
The last character of the argument to this function should be a slash:
GetDirArray ("/home/httpd/html/mywebsite/");
