note 27444 added to function.session-register

The session doesn't seem to live between XXXX.urlurlurl.com and ZZZZ.urlurlurl.com - is there a
way to force it to / to pass it?
Also - because that's what I'm ultimately trying to achieve - does the session live from
HTTP://www.urlurlurl.com and HTTPS://www.urlurlurl.com?
