If you have a date format that's in days (with the decimal part being fractional) you just need
to find the number of days between the beginning of the pc date and the epoch (set the clock that
works off of pc time to 1/1/70 to see how many days it is), subtract that number from the pc date,
and multiply by the number of seconds in a day (60*60*24). That should work.
