I found that MAX_FILE_SIZE at the client is basically worthless (on PC IE6 and PC NN4 anyway). The
client spends the time sending the file to the server but once it is there the file size is zero and
file type is empty. Furthermore, Javascript doesn't have any functions for checking the file
size either. So don't waste your time trying to do any checking client side. I would love
someone to prove me wrong, it could save plenty of bandwidth.
