in Win32 system,we can use the filetype() to judge a directory or file,
if (filetype("images")=='dir')
{
......
}
equal to-->
if (is_dir("images"))
{
......
}
This may fit for win32 and unix.
but the below only fit for win32 system
if (filetype("images")=='file')
{
......
}
equal to-->
if (is_file("images"))
{
......
}
