I had to use a call to flush() after a ob_end_flush() to make it really work.
Here's an example:
<?php
$separator="---ThisRandomString---";
header ("Content-type: multipart/x-mixed-replace;boundary=$separator");
echo "$separator\n";
for ($var=5; $var>=0; $var--) {
ob_start();
echo "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
echo "<h2>Countdown</h2>\n";
echo "$var\n";
echo "$separator\n";
ob_end_flush();
flush();
sleep (10);
}
?>
