i am working on windows 2000 with php 4.2.3. the install file of my apache webserver is
"apache_1.3.27-win32-x86-no_src.msi". windows 2000 is nt based. and that´s why i see a
hint after every php installation telling me, that nt users have to set a special chmod for some
files and "lists" ( is that the correct english word for it? ) of my installed php.
i hope you can follow me so far.
i know how to login at my server in the internet. i have got this ftp program ( WS_FTP ), my login,
my password and my files and i am able to upload them. but how can i "upload" files to my
own computer ( to the local intranet ) for setting the special chmods. i mean i know how set writing
/ reading / executing access for some "lists" or files in the internet. but how can i make
these settings just in my local intranet.
Ingo Jaeckel ( Germany ) - sorry for my english :(
