The notes to the manual (as clearly indicated in the instructions to the form you used to submit yours) are not to be used to give suggestions on changing the behaviour of a function or of the language. That's why we have bugs.php.net. Your note will be removed and you will get an email w/ similar instructions to the ones in the aforementioned form, that way you can read them again. --- BBisGod@rack1.php.net, AT@rack1.php.net, Hotmail@rack1.php.net, DOT@rack1.php.net, Com@rack1.php.net wrote: > I've been using this in conjunction with a cli > program to create some socket based apps, and I > noticed a few things: > > The dynamic function compile time errors should be > reported back in a suitable manner, maybe another > function call. > The run-time error should use the error handler for > the program, as it stands it uses the regular one > (STDOUT). > > --BB > -- > http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.create-function.php > http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+27938 > http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+27938 > http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+27938 > > > -- > PHP Notes Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) > To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php > ===== --- Jesus M.
