I'm having trouple with the include funciton in linux. When i try to include a file, say
include "/main.php"; it tries to search the root of the linux drive and doesn't
consult the include_path as being equal to /, whereas the same command in windows PHP will look in
each path of include_path as if it were the / or root directory. i.e. --
LINUX
include_path = ".:/includes/:/www/"
include "/main.php";
looks in the root of linux for main.php, not in ., /includes, or /www/.
WINDOWS
include_path = ".;D:\PHP\INCLUDES\;D:\www\"
include "/main.php";
treats /main.php as equal to D:\www\main.php
Is this a bug? or is there a fix i can do for it without having to modify all my sourcecode?
