I just figured out (once again, since that was already covered in the comments ages ago and must
have been removed) that the qmail-Wrapper for sendmail appears to be broken. So if your PHP mail()
doesn't work with qmail, try setting sendmail_path = /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject directly in
php.ini. Worked fine for me!
