I don't think im in the right place to ask this but what the hell.
I'm a budding Web Designer like most if not all of you are, and I need some help. I am new to
php, and anyother ssi scripting. I have created my web site and I am wanting to create a feature
where the Member could change the colour of the site. My site basically consists of pictures. And I
have create loads of different versions of the real thing (same pictures different colours)
I read somewhere that I could set it so that members could change the "Skin" of the site
using php, and javascript. Well I write my own scripts in Javascript, and I have tried it so that
the user could click on a button and instead of the HREF link of the picture pointing to "http://(domain).co.uk/images/red/logo.gif" it would change the link
to "http://(domain).co.uk/images/blue/logo.gif" but without
having to rewrite the whole site for each colour.
I think i described that a bit wrong but I think you may get the idea.
<a href="javascript:changeskin('blue');">Blue</a> by clicking this
it would change all the links in the page containing img tags from the RED image folder to the BLUE
image folder.
Please help me on this one guys Im sure you will be able to.
Thanks Alot Gavin
