Why does PHP no impliment the "qq" Perl delimiter. Is ia a pain to always escape the quote. It is easier to write; echo(qq~This is "great"~); than, echo("This is \"great\"); When dealing with large blocks of dynamic HTML, escaping stinks! thanks! jeff -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.basic-syntax.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+28796 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+28796 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+28796
