It seems that some characters doesn't support to be stored in .dbf databases.
In my example, I wanted to import my outlook contacts to a MySQL database. I exported my contacts to
.dbf file, then a homemade script transformed the dbf file in .sql file.
Finally I execute the SQL in phpMyAdmin. But when I look closer I see that é,
è à ç and so on are other characters...
Is it because of Outlook or because of dbf format ? or even because of php's functions ?
I was using Outlook Xp, php 4.3.0 and MySQL 3.23.52a .
