No matter how I tried, I couldnt get cookies either using $_COOKIES or anything else. I didnt want
to specify the host and the directory for the cookie, so the only workaround for me was getting the
value of $HTTP_COOKIE and exploded cookies, and saved name and value pairs, which is quite a shame,
but there was no other way for me to access my cookies. If it doesn't work for you either, this
could be a possible solution, although not a comfortable one.
