I just used the simple string replace function.. this works (I think):
<pre>
function fixsql($fixthis){
return (str_replace ("'", "''", $fixthis));
};
</pre>
When I want to add a string to my sql string that holds the sql commands, I run it through this
filter first.. like
<pre>
$sql.=(" AND '".fixsql($CompanyName)."'");
</pre>
Whoopity-do!
(Still doesn't fix the date problem when posting a note though..)
