note 29134 rejected from function.preg-replace by nicos

I was getting 'child pid xxxxx exit signal Segmentation fault (11)' in my apache error log
when using preg_replace on certian strings with special characters. I was able to filter the string
first with 'ereg_replace("^[\32-\126\t\n\r]", "", $msgBody)' first to
avoid the nasty seg faults.
