On using MS Access and MyODBC and the related date problems... MS Access uses the date format as
set in Windows Regional Settings for Short Date. So if your Short Date is set to 7/19/00, the Access
uses that date format for Date(). MySQL uses the 2000-07-19 format so changing the Windows short
date format to this usually eleviates the problem... usually....
