mysql_affected_rows() with more recent version of mysqld can return either the number of the rows
that were matched or the number of the rows that were actually modified, depending on the client
flags. Default with the most recent 3.23 client is CLIENT_FOUND_ROWS. If this is not desirable, hack
libmysql/libmysql.c, remove the line with CLIENT_FOUND_ROWS, recompile mysql client and re-link PHP
against it. If you want CLIENT_FOUND_ROWS behavior, just link your PHP against the most recent
libmysqlclient
