note 29343 rejected from function.fopen by betz

When I want to write to a file at the beginning of it, I can use "r+" or "w+",
but in both cases, file I write to will loose some("r+") or all old
information("w+"). How can I prevent this, by not usig "a+" [I want to put the
new information before the old information]?
