note 29386 added to language.variables.predefined

i just noticed that the free web server i'm running my scripts on still only knows the deprecated variable names (i.e. it uses $HTTP_POST_VARS instead of $_POST). to make scripts work both on updated servers and servers that are a bit out of date, i now use: $variablename=(isset($_POST["variablename"])) ? $_POST["variablename"] : $HTTP_POST_VARS["variablename"]; -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.predefined.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+29386 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+29386 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+29386
