Let's say you create a new PDF with the appropriate stuff, then you do this:
pdf_close($pdf);
$pdfcode = pdf_get_buffer($pdf);
header("Content-Type: application/pdf");
header("Content-Disposition: inline; filename=map.pdf");
echo $pdfcode;
For some reason, when viewing in HexEdit, there is an extra 0x0a byte at the beginning of the file.
When looking at valid PDFs (like the HTTP documentation from w3.org) this character does not exist.
What could cause this? I think 0x0a (which is hex 10) is a carriage return. Despite this hex
value, I can still view the PDF, however, I cannot print it. KDE's icon preview doesn't
work with it either.
