To embed text and images within an html page, create the image program as a separate file and make sure that the image program returns image headers so that image.php will be viewed as an image by the browser. Now just put your text in a separate file and at the place where you want the image to appear, embed it using <img src="image.php?querystring"> where your querystring will pass the parameters required to create the image. It works fine with IE and Netscape. If you want to create high resolution images, use the PNG format instead of JPEG if you are not using too many colors since the resolution is much better with PNG files and the file size of PNGs is much smaller too. -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.imagegif.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+29409 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+29409 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+29409
