It looks likes that only the variables of the last file uploaded (in a multiple upload) are
available.
I was trying the script from "meto at compatibility dot info" ( http://nl.php.net/manual/nl/features.file-upload.php#21011
) :
After commenting out the if($size)-bit, I got this:

temporary name:
mime type:
size: 0
----------------------------------------
original name: Philips act200psa64_l.jpg
temporary name:
mime type:
size: 0
----------------------------------------
original name: Rio Nike psaplay.jpg
temporary name: /tmp/phpToaKlN
mime type: image/pjpeg
size: 6941
----------------------------------------
tmp_name, type are empty and the size is 0
I use PHP version 4.2.3 on Unix/Apache
